Digital Projects

Understanding the Plants of Central Park (2021)

Understanding the Plants of Central Park was created as a final project for the Programming for Cultural Heritage course at Pratt Institute’s School of Information. It used Python to collect and combine the data and ArcGIS to map and publish the final dataset.

Native Plants of the High Line (2020)

A digital mapping project interested in sharing the history of the native plants that are used on the High Line. One piece of a larger class project, Tending to Turtle Island, which was created for Pratt Institute’s Advanced Projects in Digital Humanities course. This map manually curated data from a variety of sources and visualized it using ArcGIS StoryMaps.
